After hanging out in one of the most educational classes that I have been to in regards to our Denver real-estate market I had a lot of stats and numbers to share. In a Summary… Who has NOT benefited in our crazy market here in Denver? The answer…Those who are not in the market, those who have not bought yet! Well as you will see, there is still time, but don’t wait much longer!
There is still so much negative talk going around about our market here in Denver slowing down, maybe even on a downward trend. Many feel as if our jobs and influx of people moving into town cannot keep up with the fast past growth that we have seen over the last 7-8 years. Well, here are some stats that show just the opposite. The question is…Who will you listen to? Your friend or neighbor who is not in the real-estate business but is a self-proclaimed expert on the real-estate market in Denver or will you listen to the stats that show our market continuing to grow at a good rate for another 4 or 5 years?
When Comparing our market from 2002-2006 the last “Peak” in our market (before the drop in 2006)
to 2012-2016 this recent “Peak” being that many feel as if we are coming to the drop in our market again…
As you can see, the number of homes we have for sale, our inventory of homes being so low, jobs and population in Denver growing at such a huge level we are in store for another 4-5 years of pretty good growth. The projections show that we should see around 5% growth per year in our home prices here in Denver. Watching the market update video will give a little more detail to these numbers. If you are not in the market yet, now is the time. You do not want to wait any longer!
